Premier Oiwoh leads NIBSS, the shared infrastructure provider supporting payments between financial institutions in Nigeria. He became Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer in 2019.
Banking and technology
His career spans banking operations, information technology and digital financial services. Before joining NIBSS, he was Executive Director, Operations and Technology, at Keystone Bank, overseeing the bank’s IT and operations functions.
His experience includes process automation, information security, internal control and the development of digital banking services.
Leadership at NIBSS
At NIBSS, his work focuses on widening access to digital payments, improving reliability and reducing the cost of delivering financial services. He has discussed the role of the National Payment Stack, NQR payments and shared banking platforms in supporting those priorities.
